The short version: we collect your email only when you choose to join the waitlist. We use it for launch updates, do not sell it, and delete it when it is no longer needed.
1. Who controls your data
Slot Institute is the controller for personal data collected through this website. Questions and requests can be sent to help@slotinstitute.com.
2. What we collect
- Your email address when you join the waitlist.
- The date and time your contact record and waitlist membership are created after you consent.
- Basic request information used briefly to prevent spam and keep the site secure.
We do not intentionally collect special category data. Please do not send sensitive personal information by email or through the waitlist.
3. Why we use it
We use your email to confirm and manage your place on the waitlist and send relevant launch updates. The legal basis is your consent. You may withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting us.
We process limited technical information where necessary for our legitimate interest in preventing abuse and maintaining website security. We do not use your waitlist data for automated decision making or profiling.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist record until you withdraw consent, or for no longer than 12 months after the first public launch announcement, whichever happens first. A shorter record may be retained where necessary to honour an unsubscribe request. Spam prevention data is held in server memory for approximately 10 minutes and is not added to the contact list.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your data, and to receive a portable copy. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Email help@slotinstitute.com to exercise a right. We may need to verify that the email belongs to you. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country; the European Data Protection Board lists EU authorities.
8. Security and changes
We use encrypted HTTPS connections in production, credentials stored on the server, access controls and data minimisation. No internet service is completely free of risk. If this notice changes materially, we will update the date above and provide additional notice where required.
